Brendan was admitted to the Bar in 1984, and has had in excess of 28 years’ experience as a partner in
law firms in Auckland. He has extensive experience acting for individuals and corporate entities in the
areas of property finance, business banking, corporate finance, insolvency law, corporate and
commercial law, property law and trusts matters.

Brendan practiced as a Banking and Finance partner during the 1987 crash, the downturn in the late
1990’s known as the “Asian crisis” and GFC from 2008 and following, as well as the buoyant periods for
the New Zealand property market in between.
