Lisa Meyer is a leading banking & finance lawyer who also advises on corporate, commercial and trusts matters. Lisa has 14 years of local and international experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

With an extensive career in law, Lisa has acted for individuals, small business owners, corporates, banks and other financial institutions. Her experience covers institutional and corporate finance, property finance, project finance, structured finance, acquisition finance, receivables finance, business banking, personal property securities, debt restructurings and capital markets. She is also regularly involved in regulatory issues relating to personal property securities, anti-money laundering, consumer credit laws and financial adviser and financial service provider regulation. Lisa creates, maintains and implements loan and security documentation suites for a number of her clients. 
Lisa also advises on the sale and purchase of shares and assets, development and projects, structuring issues, mergers and acquisitions, company law and general corporate and commercial legal requirements.

Previously at Allen & Overy LLP, a magic circle firm in London, DLA Piper and Westpac in Auckland, Lisa has proven expertise in leveraged finance and investment grade transactions together with expertise in smaller corporate and commercial transactions. She has acted for a number of UK, NZ and international corporates and financial institutions leading on both domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
