CONNOR COWLEY
Solicitor

Connor graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington and was admitted to the bar in 2020. Before his admission, Connor gained experience working part-time as a Law Clerk within a large New Zealand energy company. Connor also interned within a prominent barristers chambers where he was exposed to a wide variety of commercial and civil litigation matters.

Following his admission, Connor gained experience with legal matters across contractual disputes, debt recovery, bankruptcy, liquidations and restructuring. Connor frequently provided advice to company directors, shareholders and creditors and appeared before the High Court of New Zealand.

Since joining Baker Meech, Connor supports its leading banking and finance lawyers in advising banks, corporates and other financial institutions on a broad range of financing and commercial matters, including property finance and business banking.
